能做和专业无关的一般工作吗？（PhD degree specializing in quantum

Looked for a job in the bay area for two months, no luck yet.
Due to financial reason, I want to have a temporal job.
I want to know will it affect me for applying green card in the future or even
H1 or O1 visa if I now accept a job such as a casher position or an office assistant position (they ask me to provide them my EAD card).
Please share your information if you know.
