Hi,
I changed a job inside the company because I didn't want to be oncall.
The new job is a senior position. I got the job and had been promoted.
Now after a year of working in this new postion, my working style don't match my manager's. He doesn't like to assign job to each person rather people has to compete to get projects. I wanted to go back to my previous manager. When I changed job a year ago, she was quite upset. She hoped I can stay. She had warned me that the new position may not be good to me. Do you think I can go back or find a job outside our company? My current manager is an open minded person. He told me when I first came to his group, if I don't like here I can always go back. But my previous manager is not that open. She is reasonable but strict.
Can I go back?
