请交－－该不该给他们原始CODE？

由于自己是三分之一的TA， 课余时间给一个小公司做数据分析。相对于以前给他们公司做过项目的师兄们来说，他们给的钱已经非常少了。昨天他们公司的IT经理突然发信给我要上个项目的原始CODE，说是要给客户解释。当时没想很多就直接给他们了。

现在有点后悔。因为我把CODE 给他们以后，他们也知道我所用的软件，他们自己就可以把以后的项目搞定，再也不会给我项目。那可是我是经过好长时间才总结出的最优方法。

因为一直是在学校，没给公司的人打过什么交道，想向各位请交，我是不是做错了？如果是您，怎样才能既维护了自己的利益又不伤和气？
