回复：For IT jobs, most important is experience

Thank you for your information. Actually, I have a job in wet bench, which means I am doing research with my first degree in genetics. Since I put lot time and effort to get my second degree in bioinformtics,I want to change my career from wet bench research to dry bench resarch (algorithm design and programing). However, the reality for bioinformatics career is horrible bad. No, I am disappointed with this field.

I got seveal phone call from recuiters talking about if I want to work for some health care company (short term contract job, 6-9 month, 35-45/hr). So, it is very hard for me to make my decision if I should go with them because this short term constract jobs don't provide heatlh insurance and other related benefits. In other words, I will loss my current benefit if I take one of these contract offer.

Currently, I have 3 years working experinece with J2EE, Perl,Mysql database. Also, I am working on Red hat linux enterprise As in our lab to main a biological database.
Now, I am completely tired working in an academia setting.
