Yeah, his job is like fireman. Whenever there is an emergency, they have to fix it, right away, while the product line is waiting to be on the market in 2 to 3 days. Sometimes, it might be just a small problem caused by the design side(such as put an incorrect parameter), however, maybe they can't find the error before thousands of products are ready there for the market.

Is it the same for all the semi-conductor jobs?
