在找新的job. How to answer when agents ask current salary?

Got lots of phone calls from job agents. Some of them even interviewed me before I see their clients. I feel not comfortable when they asked me how much I'm making now, and how much in my previous jobs.

Tell them exactly how much I earned, or tell a range, or just deny? This is job agent, not even the hiring manager.
