Earlier I was listening to the Bg2B podcast episode that’s been buzzing since yesterday. It definitely worth a close listen for anyone with heavy exposure to AI stocks.

In short, Sam Altman’s sharp & defensive tone toward host Brad Gerstner, a longtime OpenAI champion and CEO of Altimeter Capital, felt off. When Gerstner challenged the massive gap between OpenAI’s reported $13B annual revenue and its $1T+ in committed infrastructure spend, Altman interrupted: “We’re doing well more than $13 billion. If you want to sell your shares, I’ll find you a buyer.”

Through the entire interview, Altman downplayed profitability as a non-issue, teased (then firmly denied) a 2026 IPO, and took a combative stance against skeptics.
