要回国了。请教，去大学作研究好，还是去研究所作研究好？

要回国了。请教有这方面知识的各位，去大学作研究好，还是去研究所作研究好？

我很想继续作研究。不知道现在国内大学的研究环境如何？另外，如果去大学的话，有必要去上海吗？担心去上海的话，在大学里工作，生活的压力会很大---我这样假设有道理吗？

另外，有人知道大学的大致收入水平吗？
