Ha!. I have lived in SF Bay area for 4 years. but not like it

The key is too many Mexicans, they look very danger

while in mid-west, very few these kind of people, even Mexicans there looks nicer.

The key is the people. as to vacation, you can go anywhere you want.
While day to day life is more important.
