急问

本人几天前犯了个错：从外地飞回居住城市的机场，去附近旅馆取车（车停在那儿），因已天黑，倒车时碰了车，也没找车主就开回家了，今收到他的信（我在旅馆有记录），大家帮忙，看该怎么办？如通知保险公司，该怎么说？
