买二手车，给个意见吧！

初来乍到，整版都是讨论行车。心里怯怯的。。。请高手给个意见！

我看了一辆二手车。基本状况： Dodge intrepid SE, 2004, 91000 mi. 车主是个mechanic。他从外地的一个dealer买的。Engine 不行了，他从junk yard 买了一个二手的，显示为91000麦。还换了前轮的brake。以上都是车主叙述。换engine时候，能在timing belt上做手脚吧？
我看了看外形还可以，没什么明显dent。在点火之后，有黑烟。我在开了一段时间后停下观察，踩了踩油门，看到了白烟。这是化油器的问题吗？修的话得多少钱？
机油颜色还行。也没见到leaking的痕迹。
车内部看起来还行。
试驾：cruise control 不work。能讲下来多少钱？
车主底线是3k。大家看看，值不值？
我倒也不是开长途，只求个车没大毛病，不用总修。
