No, do not go to a dealer. Go to a localrepair shop.

Ask them to check the noise. Ask them to give you an evaluation first. If it is $100 or so to get it fixed, then tell them go ahead fix it. If cost $700 or so, as the firt shop said, then ask them what will happen if you don't have it repaired. Is it safe to drive like that? ( I think it is safe to drive it like that. Just not very comfortable). If safe, then don't fix it. If it is just a loose nut or something caused by last repair, it should be easy to fix. No more maintenance. YOu already have your maintenance done. Remember, every repair shop is struggling now--they all want your money badly...Do you know any friend that can check it for you first? As far as your last service is concerned, if they caused the noise or strut problem, then, they should pay you to get it repaired. YOu will not get your maintenance money back though. In short, 1) find out the problem 2) ask if that was caused by last service 3), does it have to be fixed? if not, then don't spend the money. (They may charge you $50 to check it, that's ok.) , I hope I am making sense...
