my car(1999, hyundai Elantra, 74,000) has problem, stall, and couldn't find the problem(posted before).last friday we noticed it is overheated at the same time.
my question is: does overheat cause the engine noise(when the car cool down, the noise disappear, the noise is like da-da-da-da, but when drive the next day, it happened again), is it the reason of car stall? or engine noise cause the overheat and car stall?
the first time we have it checked, they changed the thermostat, and we also changed the time belt at the same time, they checked the water pump and said is ok. they didn't open the engine, but all other test is ok.
we have drived in betweens for 2 or several days, then the stall happened again. the lastest time(last friday), it happened again the next day.
is it really the engine's problem or the cooling system's problem, anyone can share your opinion?
thanks a lot.
does overheat cause engine noise?
