First, I don't have a definite answer.

different lender have different occupacy affidavits with different wording, I see one that just requries "owner occupancy" without "investment purpose" language. 

Second, google owner occupied multiple-family unit loan.  I know it's not your situation, but it seems what's important is owner occupancy that lowers the credit risk.
