Insurance cost is prorated accordingly.

Monthly cost increase is typically 70-100% of parent's original rate. 

It's expensive, but you only pay for one month or so (for winter break).  

It's not too bad. 

Considering the huge potential risk of teenager/college freshman driver, it is the money well spent.
