问一个bedbug的问题

房客已经入住大半年了， 今天突然报告说发现了bedbug， 还找专人估价要2800刀除掉。租约上没有明确针对bedbug的条款， 但有一条说租客要Keep the part of the premises that he occupies and uses as clean and as safe as the condition of the premises permits。我是不是没有责任出这个钱？若不出钱，应该怎么跟房客沟通？有人能提供一个范文本吗？房客是2个年轻的专业人士， 应该很干净，我和他们都在找bedbug来源或原因。他们入住时绝对没有的。
