Put lobster in unheated water, start boiling for 21 minutes

No need to put seaweed, that is just a trick to make you feel authentic. 

Maine lobster is better than say Boston or Long Island lobster because its meat is sweeter due to the cold water in Maine. Native ate lobster with butter. You should try the restaurant right beside the bar harbor pier. Trenton bridge restaurant is popular but that is really for tourists.
