Thanks,"On hold" is a little fishing. I would Rent a hotel for them, and immediately treat the house and contact the insurance company which you bought the liability coverage. And immediately contact a lawyer who may help to  hire a professional to test the mold level in AIR. they has started to collect health damage evidences...
if they refuse to have you treat the house, Good for you.
