这不是大问题。没有sump pump 的房子常有进水的事。但也有好处。

Once you fix leakage, you don't have worry about water damage due to sump pump not working.
I would try land grading first.
This what I do.
1) Grade fist layer around the foundation with soil.
2) put 3mil drop cloth on top (or some flat roof material, 3' width )
3) put another 5" layer top soil with grass seeds.
