Looked at a foreclosed house. Nice hill side house with lake view. A lot of work. My major concerns are
1. 2000(yes, this is not a typo!) ft straight gravel drive way (grade 3%) that does not have proper drainage, so the water just run the driveway and washes out the surface. Any idea of remedies and cost.
2. Also water seeping from hill upside of the house make the soil around the house (especially the back side, which is facing the uphill) wet and could leak into the basement. I suppose one could make a french drain and guide the water away and make a little pond to keep the water.
Need engineering advices
