leisure enters utility function

as a category of consumption in economic theory. the cost of leisure consumption, ie retirement, is foregone income. when one has more asset to spend, they consume more of almost all goods, including leisure. yes if you work all the way to death, you have more income and wealth. but you run out of time to consume leisure.
