In term of result, you lost several battles. But that doesn't necessarily make you a loser. George Washington lost pretty much every battle, until in the end he won the whole war.
There are many reasons to fail, everything has to be right. As an example, as someone pointed out in your restaurant case, you didn't have control over your people. I'm a believer that, in the end, everything is about people.
If you keep learning, then all experiences including failures can be your assets. You have to learn from mistakes, otherwise you will repeat the same. You could be just steps away from success next time.
You are a can-do, will-do person, that alone is above 90% people. Don't let your fire 熄灭.
