no need to worry about diesel jelling in tahoe.  it only happens in very cold areas like michigan, canada and alaska, etc. in winter.  those local fuel distributors will add anti-jelling agents to diesel fuel for the season.

i am in socal, the diesel price i can get is about 3.90/g now and i have never had an issue finding diesel fuel stations wherever i go.  by the way, a tank of diesel fuel lasts a very long time...  good luck.
