The short sale is still pending now. We are waiting. But what I know is the roof of the house is too old (built in 1986) even though it is not leaking. The lender will not aprove a loan under this roof condition. The cost of a new roof is about $4500-$5000. If the short sale bank can agree with the price offered, it is a pretty good deal.
