is my LLC's rental propery a business Asset?

if yes, I entered purchased price of $400k, purchased on 12/28/2012, why the asset being depreciated are $424 only, did I made any mistake?  $400k depreciated by 39 years should be arond $10000/year for depreciation, correct?
