When I was a child, I don't like eating vegetables, especially string beans, cauliflower and carrots.
After I moved to U.S in the South I have become accessible to any food available.
Maybe it's the military or college life I've had here made it so.
Everything in the South is cooked with butter and made so soft, sweet and tender it tastes 10 times better than
what my mom used to cook vegetables and meat. Don't like carrots? Glazed carrots are so good you'll forget it's carrots.
And the collar greens, hum, yummy. I loved anything cooked from an Army dinning facility. So homey and nice for a hungry tummy.
Butter isn't healthy but ever since then I can eat any vegetables regardless of how it's cooked, with or without butter.
my taste buds were revamped totally.
My baby hasn't been picky on any food. Thanks God she loves string beans, carrots and cauliflower.
The secret is to make them very tender. It cures any bad taste from a vegetable you don't like.
