It's just impossible to cook food that most people in the family cannot enjoy, like Sichuan cuisine.
I have a toddler and a hu*****and who doesn't like salty, spicy dishes.
And I've outgrown strong flavored dishes myself. As my life style has changed to
a more mild, matured type over the year super spicy food has grown out of favor.
Actually our diet has become more food focused than flavor focused now
As long as it's healthy, easy to digest food we'll eat, flavor regardless.
