tackled him, he fell forward to gain extra 2-3 yards.  Unfortunately, he has lost a step.  The Giants were struggled in short yardage situation for a long long time since he started declining few years back (I also blame the offensive line). 

It was not a difficult decision to make (to let him walk).  He closes to the end of his career but I was hoping that he can revive his career in SF.  He was one of my favorite Giants players.  Good luck to him.
