If you take a look at Rogers' throwing mechanics, he throws the ball with strength and great velocity regardless of distance. It requires his receivers to run precise routes. I think the one week bye messed up their timing. It does not help the matter when Rogers did not play a game in three weeks.
The Giants' offensive game plan was to target Green Bay's secondary & Eli did an admirable job (I have already told you that the Green Bay linebackers are much better than their corners :))
