升职的机会，是接受还是谢绝？

我们组长要回学校了，只愿意以consultant的身份给公司干一些短工。于是，老板问我愿不愿意接替组长的职位。

一方面，我觉得这是一个很好的锻炼的机会，而且我们公司研发少，纯作技术难以出头。

另一方面，现任的组长做得很好，把老板的期望提得很高，而自己有很多方面还不够出色。

希望各位前辈给一些建议，是接受还是谢绝？如果接受，该做什么准备？
