我的合同里有这样的条款：

21. INSURANCE: RESIDENT acknowledges that OWNERS insurance does not cover personal body and property damage caused by fire, theft, rain, war, acts of God, acts of others, and/or any other causes, nor shall OWNER be held liable for such medical or property losses. RESIDENT is hereby advised to obtain his own insurance policy to cover any personal losses.

22. RELEASE OF OWNER: The OWNER is not liable for injury, property damage, and/or loss to the RESIDENT or guests of the RESIDENT. RESIDENT releases the OWNER from liability for damage, loss, and/or injury caused by other person(s) inhabiting the premises or acts by GOD. All claims against the OWNER for damage, loss, and/or injury are expressly waived by the RESIDENT.
