conversion need change heater orifice and the regulator. It is not that straightforward to most people. For a propane heater, air supply is much bigger than a NG heater. Therefore, you probably are running on very lean conditions. There are some negative effects ruuning in lean. I think it is better to exchange it for a NG heater. Especailly if it is a rental, you must change it to a NG heater.
