so this is the reason behind all these 'retests' of bottoms... 'retest' sounds like a pure technical term, but there is real human emotions behind it - (unwilling to see the paper profit evaporate on a good bottom fish buy)

I hope this type of explanation helps people understand how market participants behave - it's not rocket science.... humans all behave the same way... the trick is to put ourselves in other peoples shoes, and the chart will show what others have done, and therefore conclusions can be drawn on their likely behaviors in the future.
