Last year, Appaloosa CEO David Tepper bought a gorgeous, oceanfront mansion in Sagaponack for $43.5 million, making it the most expensive home in the Hamptons.

But he's offically torn the place down, apparently to make room for a house that's nearly twice the size of the original (via Curbed Hamptons).

Southampton Patch has the aerial proof, as well as photos of the property before it was razed.
