One question about yesterday's final

To be honest , I might be one of the few people here who believe Nadal probably has a chance to pull out of an upset yesterday. As most people here know tennis better than I do, I suppose majority would agree Djoker has a clear edge techinically, especially when he is agianst Nadal.  But Nadal's Quarter and Semi make me think his physical condition is at his peak and would become a major factor if the match goes any longer beyond 3 sets.

After Nadal pulled out the tiebreak in 3rd set, I thought all the momentum was on Nadal's side. I had to leave home when Djoker was calling the trainer at the beginning of the 4th. On my way home 20 mins later, I was thinking I might be driving home only to watch the Trophy ceremony, as I would not be surprised if Djoker retired. When I put my eyes back on my TV screen, I saw that glasses-dropping score 4-1 , Djoker was as fresh as beginning adn  Nadal was basically walking and giving it up.

What the hell it happened during that 20mins I missed? Did Nadal get hurt somehow? Did he call trainer too ? Or he was just simply running out of gas? Weird!
