There is no significant difference between "quick cooking" and regular cooking, I feel.

I use a little bit more water over the line to cook. I personally like soft and a bit sticky rice.

If there is "No Rinse" phrase on the rice package, then you can use "Pre washed". Once again, I don't feel too much difference when sometimes I happen to have chosen the "wrong" setting.

You may want to try different brands of rice to find out your favorate.
