We don't buy anything out of staples such as certain fruits and veges,quarter of milk, OJ, two pounds of meat,two bottles of soda pops, one pack of crackers or chips. I mean never buy anything out of the planned shopping list,always buy the same stuff every week and look for discounted items. We have plenty money but why spend more on kitchen food? There's more to enjoy in life, such as a nice vacation or a date night,than a regular week's dinners.

The way to save is do not run into compulsive shopping. Stick to the budget.
