foundation: crawlspace or slab

Anyone knows foundations:

what is better?

crawlspace or slab.

I personally do not have a house on crawlspace. so I like slab thinking of no repair required. but what if slab has cracking in 20-30 years.

 

what about crawlspace foundation? Is it better choice?
