thanks everyone, I'll be with my kids, wife be in New York..

we want to go smithsonians, and some other places, we will be stay at Wyndham old town alexandria on king st for 3 nights, then go to New York meet my wife, then go to CT to visit my niece at Yale...

so we have 3 free days in DC area, we want to see the best of DC offer, fun places? best seafood? Pasta? parks?
