申请贷款被拒绝，申请费用和appraisal费用能否要回来？

我本来买的一个投资房，现金买的，没有出租，为了申请贷款，我就自己住进去了，贷款公司是个外地小公司，叫oxford landing，是在bankrate.com网上找的，他一开始就收了我申请费和appraisal费用，现在appraisal已经做完，网上广告说closing cost 1499，可是最后的closing cost是9100。我置疑他们，oxford说怀疑我不是自主房，不符合FHA loan的政府规定，为了给我做成，所以要多收我的钱。我已经把所有的证件，驾照，电费，水费，都寄给他们了。就是自住房，我反驳他们并提醒他们，如果不合法，就不能贷款，但是不能擅自提高费用，最后，他们气急败坏，就拒绝了我的申请。

请问，这种情况下，我如何追回我的损失，申请费500和appraisal费450。
