People usually buy "Replacement Cost" for primary homes

Insurance company will have their own formular to calculate the cost to rebuild your house. The county appraisal is mainly based on the 成交价 and depratiation or appratiation of your house. No insurance company will sell you replacement cost insurance based on county appraisal price.
