I bought several houses around early 2009 in Sacramento area. that time it is really easy. Every time I made an offer, my offer got acceptted. BUT early this year, I tried to buy a condo, there are several bids competing with my offer, I have to add 5k more to get the condo. Also I emailed to many listing agent and they don't reply me either . The shortsale house is tough, you have to have connections to buy those one.
