I leased my apt to a company who's been using it for its interns to stay. I signed a 3-year lease. I just received a notice from them saying they want to end the lease on June 30 (lease has two more years left). I live in NJ and would appreciate if anybody has similar experience, what should I do? Thanks.
I checked NJ law online and it says if a tenant wants to break a lease before it ends, the tenant must get written permission from the landlord. And landlord has right to refuse or agree to have tenant looking for a replacement to finish the rest of lease. If this is true, how so I proceed? Contact a lawyer?
Why should I do if tenant wants to break the lease? Please help
