One of previous resident just copied the payment schedule from his tax bill.

1st Installment Due Monday, August 17, 2009--- last day to pay with no penalty August 27, 2009
2nd Installment Due Monday, October 5, 2009 --- last day to pay with no penalty October 15, 2009
3rd Installment Due Monday, January 4, 2010 --- last day to pay with no penalty January 14, 2010
4th Installment Due Monday, March 1, 2010---- last day to pay with no penalty March 11, 2010

* I understood that for above 4th installment which should due on March 1,2010, I am responsible to pay for it since my house is closed on Jan 11,2010.
Title company said that they will pay for the penalty part due to their misleading.This is clear now.
* However, my question here is:
Should I also be responsible for above 3rd installment due on Jan 4,2010?
The bill has the due day but doesn't say specificlly the 3rd one is for : from when(which month) to when(which month).
Then, Title just used my money to reimburse the seller.
Is that fair?At least, I thought should be half-half.
Does my thinking make sense?
