the child care in tax is a scam! beaware.

Using turbotax, if i remove all child care expense (it was $30k for my family) and credit the $5000 pre-tax back to box 1 of my w2, i end up paying $1500 less in tax return. this has something to do with the crappy AMT stuff, I guess.

what a scam!
