It is not binding after you sign on the offer and addendum.

you have to get the bank signed copy to make it binding.

I think the agent didn't give you that copy.

Agent always told client the offer is binding. they didn't tell the truth.

I bought a condo last month, I offer $28,500. and the agent told me the bank accepted it. but later she told another bid come in just before the house status change. So I have to pay $4500 more to close the deal
