请教一个TAX Lien的问题

去年买了一个foreclosure, 以为foreclosure了，所有的lien都清了。
但是今天却收到政府的TAX delinquent 账单，一看，是上任屋主的。
想请问坛上的大师们，我是否一定得付这笔钱。谢谢。
