Some states prohibit landlords from refusing the federal vouchers, but in Virginia, landlords can refuse to rent to people in the Section 8 program.

Well, if the renter has a good credit score and can keep your house in good shape, then why not.

One other trick is to visit the applicants current residence to make the decision.
