Then direction mark and position of black ball. Direction tells the direction after the FIRST(!) rebounce. Please read the following very carefully.

Fig 1. For whatever reason the direction is (U) since this is the start position.

Fig 2. after rebounce downward (D) for 1 grid, ending position. (It will continue go down then rebounce up in next step.)

Fig 3. after go down and rebounce up (U) for 2 grids, ending position.

Fig 4. after go up and rebounce down (D) for 3 grids, ending position.

Fig 5. after rebounce up (U) and then rebounce down for 4 grids, ending position.
