I bought a Wolfgang Puck Electric 5-quart Pressure Cooker for a while now. It is very good for cooking meat and other food. It come with preset programs for rice, meat, vegetables, soup and stew. I have the following experience to share with you.
1. Cooking rice (gan fan) shows no advantage over regular rice cooker, 5 minutes standard pressurized cooking time.
2. Cooking xi fan is good especially you could put delay cooking timer on for cooking breakfast before you go to bed. Your breakfast could have just cooked before your eating. 5 minutes standard pressurized cooking time.
3. Cooking various meat is really efficient. The standard pressurized cooking time is 20 minutes. It takes a few minutes to built the pressure and release the pressure. Normally the entire process takes 30 minutes.
4. Steaming egg soup, I used rice cooking program. It is done perfectly every time.
4. Making rib soup (meat program) - perfect not too well done, not too hard.
